Things to do in Disneyland

Disneyland is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of the Walt Disney Company and was opened on July 18, 1955. The major attractions of Disneyland are New Orleans Square, Bear Country, Mickey’s Toontown and Disney California Adventure Park. In 2010, 15.98 million people visited the park, making it the second most visited park in the world that calendar year. Disneyland currently boasts 58 attractions, the largest number of attractions for a Disney theme park.
Disneyland is divided into nine themed “lands” with rides appropriate for different ages and heights, shows that will entertain kids and adults, opportunities to interact with Disney characters, interactive activities and exhibits, shops selling souvenirs and collectables from kitsch to fine crystal, themed snack bars and restaurants, live bands, dancing, parades of elaborate Disney-themed floats and characters and a nightly fireworks display.
